COMPACT SUPPRESSION WITH LESS BACKPRESSURE

The YHM Turbo K RB is everything great about the Turbo K, but with less backpressure.  This 17-4 stainless suppressor has been enhanced with an Inconel blast baffle, giving it the durability to be used on automatic firearms and short-barrel rifles.  If you're concerned about something this tough being overly heavy, fear not!  The Turbo K RB weighs just 8.8 ounces—only a third of what popular 5.56 silencers of the past weighed!

Like the well-received previous version, the Turbo K RB features the 1-3/8x24 thread pattern.  This pattern, also known as Bravo/HUB, allows dozens of other mounts to be installed.  Systems such as the SilencerCo ASR or Dead Air Key-Mo can quickly be installed into the Turbo K RB.  This means you can have standard mounting systems between your rifles, future-proofing your arsenal should new and exciting mounts come out.

Why is a reduction in backpressure significant?  Suppressors trap and cool the gases like a muffler works on your vehicle.  While this reduces the report, it can also increase gas pressure in semi-auto and full-auto firearms.  In an AR-15, it can cause earlier and faster unlocking and more aggressive cycling.  This results in increased recoil, increased gases to the shooter's face, increased wear on components, and more carbon fouling in the firearm.  Reduction in backpressure lets the firearm behave more naturally and offers a better experience to the shooter.

CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION

The Turbo K was a hit, for good reason.  It was affordable, versatile, and not too heavy at all.  In addition to the apparent pros, it was a remarkably reasonable price.  The Turbo K RB is no different.  Everything great about the original is still there, but now it comes with less backpressure and slightly lighter weight.  At under 5" long, the size is fantastic for 5.56 rifles- specifically SBRs.  Even though it's made from stainless and Inconel, it still weighs less than many full-titanium suppressors.  It's short, light, quiet, has lower backpressure, and features a modular mounting system.  With the HUB/Bravo style mount, users can adapt it to nearly any major solution on the market.  The price point is also attractive, making the Turbo K RB a great, budget-friendly option.
