THE PTR VENT 2 - AS QUIET AS 9MM GETS
The VENT™ 2 utilizes a specific combination of the most advanced internal and external coatings, complementing the titanium's already robust resistance to erosion and corrosion. The coating provides a barrier between the titanium body and the muzzle gases, helping to minimize visual signature. Surface hardness is increased, and a low coefficient of friction is added, resulting in less carbon fouling and easier cleaning. The surface coatings also offer high-temperature resistance, ensuring each VENT suppressor stays protected throughout the firing schedule.
The new, ultra-high performance patented VENT™ suppressor utilizes the next generation of suppressor technology. These innovative suppressors were developed using advanced additive manufacturing and a titanium monolithic 3D-printed body-to-core structure, eliminating failure points often associated with traditional suppressors. The design features a combination of internal venting, complex baffles, and patented Purposefully Induced Porosity (PIP) technology that harmoniously reduces noise associated with "port pop" and offers superior muzzle signature reduction. This industry-leading technology utilizes a hybrid flow-through design that creates a new way to control the rapid expansion of gas that traditional baffle and flow-through suppressors cannot achieve, making the new line of VENT™ suppressors truly cutting-edge.
