The Griffin Armament Optimus 6 is a next-generation suppressor built for serious shooters who demand performance and versatility. Designed primarily for 5.56mm rifles but capable of handling calibers up to 6mm, the Optimus 6 is Griffin’s first production suppressor utilizing advanced 3D printing technology. It's constructed entirely from 17-4 H900 stainless steel, offering exceptional strength and heat resistance. Thanks to its additive-manufactured baffle stack and end cap, the Optimus 6 delivers a unique internal design that helps reduce backpressure and gas blowback, improving function and comfort on semi-autos.
It is one of the few low-backpressure suppressors that also excels at flash reduction, featuring a quad-prong FlashKiller end cap for superior performance in low light. Griffin also engineered it so the serialized rear housing is separate from the printed body, making warranty service easier without the hassle of re-filing paperwork. The Optimus 6 comes in a high-temp Cerakote black finish and is backed by Griffin’s Perpetual Lifetime Warranty.
It comes in at just 6.2 inches in length and weighs 15.2 ounces. It is full-auto rated with a 60-round burst limit and delivers impressive sound performance, staying under 140 dB at the ear.
