It can be carried as EDC folded in a pocket, and serve as a field towel, protective mat, hot pan holder, or nearly anything else a regular towel or square of fabric can accomplish.
It's also extremely heat-resistant! This makes it ideal for working with hot silencers, whether removing or checking for tightness while hot. It can also be a spot to set down hot suppressors and firearms without damaging a table or other surface. The uses are nearly endless. It's a great multi-use piece of kit to have on hand!
